Don't Ignore this just because the main attacker is Trubbish!

Ok, after I saw the BW9 scans I had a crazy idea. How about, I say to myself, Trubbish PLS with Sigilyph BW9? Trubbish does PC for 20x all Tools in play. Sigilyph can have up to 4 Tools attached to it at one time. Can you see where I'm going with this now? Since Trubbish is so weak though, HP-wise, Mew EX with Eviolite can somewhat make up for that. Use the DRX Sigilyph against Mewtwo and EX Stuff, possibly with the new Silver Bangle card, to get rid of them and then use Trubbish for everything it can handle. Elesa can search for Tools 3 at a time to help you set up, and Rescue Scarf can help retrieve Mew EXes and Trubbishes. I'll put up some translations in a little bit. Tell me what you think about this idea!

    Sigilyph - Psychic - HP90
    Basic Pokemon
    Ability: Item Box
This Pokemon can have up to 4 Pokemon Tools attached to it. (If this Ability is negated, discard Pokemon Tools until there’s one left.)
    [P][C][C] Cutting Wind: 70 damage.
    Weakness: Lightning (x2)
    Resistance: Fighting (-20)
    Retreat: 1

    Silver Bangle - Trainer
    Item
Pokemon Tool: Attach a Pokemon Tool to 1 of your Pokemon that doesn't already have a Pokemon Tool attached to it.
If the Pokemon this card is attached to is not a Pokemon-EX, its attacks do 30 more damage to the active Pokemon-EX.
You may play as many Item cards as you like during your turn (before your attack).

    Elesa – Trainer
    Supporter
Search your deck for 3 Pokemon Tool cards, show them to your opponent, and put them into your hand. Shuffle your deck afterwards.
You may play only 1 Supporter card during your turn (before your attack).

Useless posts deleted. Iwon't be a part of baseless speculation but that does not mean others cannot.

I'm interested in this, of course I'm interested in any decks made with cards that haven't been released yet. why u no has decklist yet? I already made my Cradily/Empoleon/Dusknoir deck and played it at league.

Trubbish has 70 HP. And you have Mew EX for when needed for a boost in HP.

Wow, using Mew Ex for the HP boost. There's a phrase I've never seen before. Have you considered partnering this with Pokemon that get tools out of the discard? Sableye seems a natural fit.

Yes, actually I have. That would be needed for when a Sigilyph gets catcher KOed or something.
Were you serious about never hearing of the HP boost? I didn't realize it was so not-thought-of.

Yes I was. Most of the time I've seen Mew EX used, it is because it is a Basic and thus can be gotten out faster than the Stage 1 or Stage 2 that has the attack you want Mew EX to copy, as in an Empoleon Accelgor deck for example. I don't think I've ever heard anyone suggest using Mew EX as a substitute for a Basic with lower HP before. In the eras where Mewtwo EX was the major play in almost every deck, that would be two prizes lost too quickly even with Eviolite. In this meta, it would be a little safer, but I'd worry if the prize trade would be in your favor or not. Worth a try though.

Its not safe at all actually.

You do NOT want a 120hp EX in a format with Lugia EX in a top tier deck. Not even with tools.

i mean even 170HP cards have a hard time surviving one turn vs. HTL and 110 damage attacks. Esa's "magical number"

Then you attach it to Trubbish and attack with him.

This looks like the kind of deck one of the players in my league would play. But I would totally play sableye, rescue scarf and silver mirror with this deck.

Liepard with assist is another option to copy trubbish's attack, although it does take a coin flip, could put Fliptini in there to help too

Yes, definitely. That's part of the strategy. Stream KOs with Trubbish, Sigilyph, and Rescue Scarf, with Sableye to get tools like Eviolite and Silver Mirror.
