      What’s wrong with Arceus?

Anyways, my next article will probably be about something a little more mainstream than Arceus.

Nah, don’t do that. The Arceus type articles are so rare.

I played FlyChamp (similar concept) all last season and won a few smaller tournies, so perhaps I can offer some insight:

Energy: I think every Flygon deck should max out DCE. You can find a space by pulling a Psychic as it’s pretty rare that you’ll ever be attacking with Azelf or Nido. I’d also subtract 1 Fighting – 12 is plenty of energy, especially with a Flower Shop Lady.

Supporters/Trainers: I don’t really see the purpose of Professor Elm’s Training Method without Bebe’s being maxed out because you can’t find Flygon X or a basic Pokemon with it. I’d pull both: use 1 for a 4th Bebe’s and 1 for a Warp Point. You don’t have any switch cards, which can leave you in a tough spot since Donphan’s retreat cost is HUUUGE. I’d pull the Premier Ball for a 2nd Warp Point. Flygon X can be sought out with Bebe’s or Communication and can be rescued with Flower Shop Lady. In general, playing 1 card for 1 card hurts consistency.

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Cool that you`ve tried FlyChamp! I actually wondered if I`m gonna play FlyChamp too, but ended up with FlyPhan…

      1. The psychic Energies is for Flygon. I am rarely going to attack with Nido or Azelf, but they are in the deck to get free retreat cost for all of my psychic pokemon. Flygon Poke-Body says:
“If any basic Energy card attached to Flygon is the same type as any of your Pokemon, the Retreat Cost for that Pokemon is 0″
You see why I use psychic now?

      2. I have had problems with getting energies for Donphan before, that`s why I have ensured me with lots of fighting energy.

      3. I have now taken out Professor Elm`s Training Method and maxed out Bebe`s, plus on Warp Point in the early game.
I don`t need more Warp Point or Switch because of Flygon`s Body.

I actually thought you knew about the common rule with Fly-decks. The reason that both Donphan, Machamp and Hippowdon is good with Flygon, is just because they get free retreat cost…

Beklager, men jeg er i Sveits akkurat nå. :( Men dette er kjempebra! Endelig noen som snakker norsk! Jeg bor i California, så ikke så mange folk snakker norsk!Did I spell that right? I haven’t been typing in Norwegian for a very long time!

      • Anonymous

Så du er norsk, eller hva? Er ikke mange i California som snakker norsk, kan jeg tenke meg, nei.

Is it many norwegians in California or what? I was there this summer; San Francisco, Hollywood etc.! =)
I actually met norwegians in San Francisco, and they lived there. Maybe it was you? :P

      • 2decktom

Vel, jeg er ikke i San Francisco-området. Men jeg er litt i området. Bare gå nord-vest, og du kommer til Walnut Creek, en rolig liten by. :)

To my knowledge, in my area there are no Norwegians in my area except us. I’m also Belgian, so of course, trilingual!

        This is so cool.

      • Anonymous

Oh, so you`re half norwegian, half Belgian and lives in San Francisco! =)

        How cool!

      • 2decktom

Yep, that’s right. Well, about an hour away from San Francisco, so not that far!
