It's Phan-Tastic!

It's Phan-Tastic!

As you all know Heart Gold and Soul Silver has just come out in time for states, and most of you have already started to test for these big tournaments. If not, well you better have an idea. Ever since I saw the Japanese scan for this card, I knew I wanted to play it. That card is Donphan Prime. Dishing out 60 for one Fighting Energy and doing 10 to all of your bench, means a cheap 60 with a drawback, right? But that’s …

The Other LuxChomp

Hey everyone this is the second article I’ve submitted to 6P. This was the deck that I submitted to J-Wittz’s Double Colorless Competition. While this build utilizes Double Colorless Energies, it pretty much neglects the rest of the cards from HGSS. This is why I look forward to any constructive criticism I can get because I am thinking about maybe using this for States. Thanks for reading!

Deck Analysis - Sludggge.

Deck Analysis - Sludggge.

What’s up guys? I am here with an analysis on a new deck I have been play testing extensively over the last few weeks.

I knew I wanted to build Plox when HG/SS came out, but after seeing some of the other cards in the set, I thought I should take advantage of some of the new overlooked cards and build something that isn’t simply a net-deck. The result is a high-power, high-consistency, top-tier deck worthy of dominating for the short remainder of the DP-GS format.

Ladies …

Huntley, IL City Championship 1/10/10 1st place Masters report.

Hi this is a tournament report about the Huntley, IL City Championships that took place on 1/10/10. My name is Clinton Chan and I’m in the Masters Division. I’m a resident of Chicago, IL and a frequent visitor and commenter on sixprizes.com. So this was going to be the last possible City Championship I was going to be able to attend for this season and I really wanted a win to cap of a solid showing of top 4 and a finals in my previous …

Willy G's Top Cards in Modified

Willy G's Top Cards in Modified

Yesterday, my friends and I decided that we needed to establish the best card in the Modified format. We gathered 32 of our favorites, scrambled them, and pitted them against each other. Here are our results:

ROUND 1:

GAME 1: Luxray GL Lv.X vs. Cynthia’s Feelings

A fairly easy pick. Cynthia’s Feelings does provide incredible draw power when it really counts, but Luxray GL Lv.X has been one of the top cards this year for its revolutionary gusting ability. WINNER: Luxray GL Lv.X

GAME 2: SP Radar vs. Dialga …

Kenny Wisdom's (kwisdumb's) Lakewood, WA CC report

Kenny Wisdom's (kwisdumb's) Lakewood, WA CC report

Sorry for the belated report, everyone. The holidays caught up with me and it wasn’t until tonight that I realized I had completely forgotten to write this. Anyway, thanks to the kind souls that reside in Mike M. Gage R. and Shiela R, I was able to get a ride to the Lakewood, WA City Championships at The Game Matrix.

I decided to stick with LuxApe with a splash of Garchomp and Dialga, but (spoilers!) have since moved onto LuxChomp. More on that later…

There are 38(?) …

México City, CC's 1st Place Report 19/12

México City, CC's 1st Place Report 19/12

Greetings from México!

This is ABSOLUTION and I’d like to share with the 6P community my 1st Place Report.

First of all, let me introduce a little bit about myself. I’ve been playing since I was 14, and now I’m a 19 year old Pokémon TCG Trainer. I’ve earned the right to participate in the World Championships twice in a row; once from México National Championship in 2008 and the other being 10th at LCQ this year.

Ok that’s a lot of chatter now let’s begin …
