Battle Roads Report-1st place with Fly/Champ

Battle Roads Report - 1st Place with Flygon / Machamp

Please picture the following: Flygon Lv.X, Machamp, Nidoqueen, Mesprit. Thanks!

Well to start things off this is my first premiere event since Spring Battle Roads, so needless to say I was quite excited. I had been play testing quite a few decks, but really felt like Fly/Champ was the best play. So I went with my gut and that is what I ended up playing.

So my friends, brother, and I get up and start heading to Rolla, Mo for the first tournament for all of us …

Promogon Battle Roads Report

Promogon Battle Roads Report

There really wasn’t much question as to what deck I would play for Battle Roads this time, since it will likely be the only one I’ll make it to.  My favorite Pokemon is Porygon Z, so naturally I chose the always entertaining Promogon Z!

My girlfriend and I have recently gotten two of our friends from UMass into Pokemon, so after dragging ourselves out of bed after a nice Saturday night at college (   :]   ) we went over to Bruegger’s Bagels for breakfast in Amherst …

Battle Roads Autumn 2009 – First Weekend Recap – Pablo

Battle Roads Autumn 2009 – First Weekend Recap – Pablo

Hello guys! I was only able to make it to one Battle Road on the first week, mainly due to conflicting schedules with my soccer games but oh well; at least I got some games in. I decided to use Flygon Lock for this tournament, mainly because I had used it a lot before Worlds, but I hadn’t used it at a real tournament before. I knew time would be an issue eventually, so I tried playing as fast as I could, but I can’t …

Memphis Battle Roads Report - 1st place 9/19/09

Memphis Battle Roads Report - 1st place 9/19/09

Round 1 – vs Kingdra
I had watched this person practice playing earlier and knew she didn’t use Unown G or Warp Point so I figured it’d be smooth sailing. I was right. As soon as they evolved into Claydol, I Inviting Trapped it and ended up passing a few turns cause she hadn’t attached …

Battle Roads Autumn 2009 First Weekend Recap - Adam

First off, I hope everyone enjoyed following along with the Twitter updates the past 2 days! It was pretty cool to be able to send updates in after every round. I apologize if my updates weren’t as detailed as doeiqts, my phone is extremely basic and takes me forever to type anything out; I am guessing he has a keyboard on his phone. If you want to send in Twitter updates, just let me know and I’ll get you hooked up.

Anyways I …
