Before we get to the poll…
1. Sorry for the late articles!
I wish it wasn’t such a frequent occurrence, but we’ve been having trouble getting articles out on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Almost all the writers are in college, so they’ve all been dealing with the crunch of finals looming on them in late April/early May.
School takes priority over Pokemon, so I tell the guys to take their time with their articles and make sure they’re happy with the finished product before sending it in for publishing. I don’t want to push an article before it’s ready, so I’d rather give an extra day or two so it meets the Underground quality you’ve come to expect.
I’ll take the heat (if there is any) for the late articles. I’ll try to do a better job communicating with everyone when articles will be late, just so there isn’t any confusion.
But since school will be out soon, you can expect articles to be published on time for most of the summer.
2. We need input on what articles you want to see!

We’re trying to gather info on what format(s) you guys and gals want us to cover this month. Things are kind of confusing because there are 3 different formats to prepare for at the moment:
- HeartGold / SoulSilver onward (HGSS-on) – The format for US and Canadian Nationals
- Majestic Dawn to Call of Legends – The format for most International Nationals
- Majestic Dawn to Black & White – The format for Spring Battle Roads and some International Nationals

I just want to make sure we cover all those different formats if people want to see ‘em. Most of the writers are testing HGSS-on and I think most people are most excited about that format, but I know not everyone is preparing for HGSS-on.
