Who would prefer any tournament other than the most important? (Worlds)

^Nats since it is MUCH larger and any donk could cost you the entire tourny. It takes alot of skill but alot more luck.

I absolutely HATE playing in Nationals. So much pressure. The atmosphere is cool, but the pressure of the tournament is so annoying.

My favorite is CC’s. Enough K-value to make a difference, but you could still do pretty well with a fun deck. No pressure at all.

Battle Roads are a waste of time, as the rankings are almost unaffected and there are the prizes are little to none as well. I like Cities, because they mean something, there’s plenty of them, and usually the competition’s decent as well.

I personally like playing in Regionals. You have little, if any, new cards introduced between then and States. It makes me feel much more equipped to take on the metagame around that time.

As far as my favorite tournament to attend, I have to go with Nationals. I’ve just had so much fun in the past, not necessarily playing, but just getting away from home and hanging out with people.

But as far as tournaments go for playing in them, Worlds was always really cool because I got to play against all kinds of different people and it was the last tournament of the year.

I like the pre-releases because you get to try out the new cards. Yes there is a lot of luck involved in the cards you pull, but there is also some skill in building a viable pre-release deck. And of course, even though you have to pay – you do get a whole pile of new cards really start to think about ideas for new decks.

Definetly Nationals, I like big events(although Nats in Finland is something like 10 times smaller than Nats in the US), and I don’t really get a lot of pressure playing there than playing anywhere else.

If I ever got to play at Worlds, then I think that would be my favorite, but since I haven’t, it’s Nationals.

Worlds FTW. It is the most fun you could possibly have in pokemon.
