February flew by… which means it’s time to vote for Writer of the Month!
(Side note: Does anyone know why February only has 28 days? Like why don’t a couple of the 31 day months chip in to give February 30 days, and then all the months would have either 30 or 31 days?)
We had 13 different contributors this month compared to 17 last month. February was a short month though… so it kind of makes sense that we were down in that regard.
But the positive behind that stat is that it gives the contributors a much better shot at cracking the top 10, which nabs them a FREE 1 month membership to SixPrizes Underground!
If YOU would like to become a contributor to the site (and have a chance to snag a free UG membership), check out the instructions here.
Vote for your 3 favorite writers from last month (February 2011).
(No top cut voting this time… poll closes Sunday March 6th at 11:59 PM EST.)

In other news…
States are start next weekend! Make sure you’re practicing and fine tuning your deck now so you’re not in a quagmire next week, trying to make last minute decisions and cramming in your testing the eve of States.
It’s always best to prepare in advance… so give yourself adequate time and get the bulk of your testing in this weekend.
Don’t know if there is going to be a State/Province/Territory Championship in your area? You can look up the location around the globe here.
And here’s some various SixPrizes news:
Mobile device support will be coming to the forums soon. Probably later today. I originally installed Tapatalk which is 3rd party software that’s support to give mobile support to forums, but people are reporting issues with it, plus vBulletin recently released official mobile device software, so I’ll be working on getting that plugged in very soon.
Bug and suggestion of the month are gone. :( I know you’re sad. Or maybe you didn’t notice, but I thought I’d explain why they’re gone anyway:
Basically, I felt like most major bugs and suggestions had been sent to me, and the subsequent e-mails I was receiving were mostly regarding trivial improvements to the site. I’m trying to cut back on the e-mails I receive and time I spend working on the site, so I felt it was best to cut out.
I still want to keep improving the site, but I was getting hung up on trying to fix real minor things. At some point I needed to say the site is pretty darn good as it is.
People can still e-mail me about urgent and major crises though! Those things I’m glad to fix and spend time on. :)
SixPrizes YouTube videos may be back! I’m contemplating getting a digital video camera (probably this one) so I can film the happenings at States and interview people. What do you think… should I go for it?
On the 6P Podcast/Radio: I’ve just been lazy and haven’t felt like putting another show together. Maybe as the weather gets warmer I’ll get more drive to make another show happen… we’ll see. :)
And the last thing I’m working on right now (non-SixPrizes/Pokemon related) is my own personal website:
It’s sort of a mess right now, but I’m in the process of redoing the theme and plan to start writing and posting more stuff on there. So if you want to know more about me, you can check that out.
Thanks for reading!
Adam
