I just wanted to put out a quick reminder that over on the boards, we’re in the midst of sign-ups for our second SixPrizes.com Grand Prix tournament (aka 6P GP II). Most everything that you’ll need to know is in the sign up thread but I’ll go through a bit of it for people who aren’t experienced with online tournaments.
The format will be the regular POP modified format, but with HGSS cards added in so that we can test decks for the upcoming State championships. After sign-ups close, I’ll use TOM (the Pokemon tournament software) to make pairings, and you’ll be given a few days to complete each game. Our default software is Redshark, but if you and your opponent would like to use something else, that’s completely fine by me. Number of rounds and number of top cut participants are determined by number of entrants, so all of that information will be posted on the boards when the sign-ups are finished.
The 6P GP II will be a great way to get a leg up on the competition and get to earn some bragging rights in the process! Sign up in the thread now, or if you have any questions, please let me know in the comments!
