Not opt for ranking?

The ranking system does not list my name or points. It just says not opt for ranking, can any one tell me what that means and how to fix it?

It means one of two things:

    Possibility A:
You're under 18 and your parent has not set the "opt into rankings" button on your profile.

    Possibility B:
You're over 18 and have not opted into rankings. It's under your trainer profile under options, near the bottom, on pokemon.com. The default is opt-out.

I had a question regarding the "not opted into ranking's" myself: If you are number 100 in the ranking, and there's 30 people from 99-1 that are not opted into the rankings would that mean you are actually number 70? Why are they given a spot in the rankings at all (without a name), if they are not opted into the rankings?

Because even though they're not opted into rankings, they still exist.
    They're just anonymous.
To clarify, say you're really good at a video game, and you go to ah arcade to play it. The arcade owners have a scoreboard for this particular game that shows the name and score of the 5 best players this month. Say you played a round and got the fourth best score this month. However, the three top scorers this month didn't want to leave their names. You're still in fourth place, even though if you discounted the anonymous people you'd have the best score.

Ohh ok.....I was thinking that the people did not want to be in the rankings, because they had no plan of competing on a regular basis.
