  1. Adam Dude.

This thread is for applying to become a Front Page Contributor.

Please include the following in your application:

    1. Links to previously posted content you have produced

If you have no previously written content (on SixPrizes or any other site), then you will need to create something to exhibit your writing skills.

Please read both "How to Choose a Topic and Write Your Article" and "Technical Requirements of Article Writing," then write an article and post it as a new thread (wherever it would be most appropriate) here on the SixPrizes forums.

    2. A brief summary of your most noteworthy tournament accomplishments

List a few of your best tournament finishes (and please include your age division).

    3. Why you think you are qualified to become a Front Page Contributor

In a few sentences, detail why you are qualified and why you want to become a SixPrizes Front Page Contributor.

Answer these 3 inquiries as a reply to this thread then send Adam an e-mail with a link to your application post. Adam will then e-mail you back within a couple days with his decision.

IMPORTANT: Please E-MAIL ADAM after you post your resume!

    2. My biggest accomplishments include: 2005 World Championship participant; two-time Top 16 qualifier at U. S. Nationals (’05, ’07); Top 128 at U. S. Nationals (2010); 2nd, 4th and two-time Top 16 qualifier at Regionals (’06, '05, '07, '10 respectively); 2nd at States (’05); ranked 14th in North America (after City Championships in ’07).

    3. I am qualified to become a Front Page Contributor to SixPrizes because I possess extensive knowledge of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Coupled with my ten-years of experience, I have the willingness to aid the TCG community through detailed writing online. New and moderately skilled players can learn a lot from my explanative composition style, while veterans will enjoy reading about my tournament success throughout the Great Lakes region and beyond.

    2. A brief summary of your most noteworthy tournament accomplishments

I started playing competitively during State Championships of 2010. I haven't won any major titles yet. My accomplishments include 1st at a Spring Battle Roads '10 with LuxChomp and 3 top 4's at Autumn Battle Roads '10 (1 with PalkiaChomp, 2 with LuxChomp)

    3. Why you think you are qualified to become a Front Page Contributor

I'm a college student with excellent grades in my Writing and News Literacy courses, I have extensive knowledge of the metagame, and play with and against both top tier decks and rogues on a weekly basis. I've also read a lot of articles on various Pokemon websites and know how to avoid common pitfalls such as reiterating card text without stating how it functions in a particular deck, exhibiting bias towards the deck being analyzed, and not anticipating/addressing critiques readers will have with the article. You won't see a 10'000th LuxChomp article submission from me. Only original content backed by testing results. I have lots of ideas for good decks and articles that aren't on the front page anywhere else. Let me know by e-mail or PM and I'll send my first piece soon after.

    2. A brief summary of your most noteworthy tournament accomplishments
    1st place BR 2010
    1st place BR 2010

Before that I had no legal cards, but now that I actually have cards, I am 8-0 in all of the P!P games that I have played in.

    3. Why you think you are qualified to become a Front Page Contributor

I love to write. I write fiction and nonfiction, true and false thing, I love to write. I love Pokemon, but nobody in my family plays. I used SixPrizes as a place I could spill my Pokemon guts and let out all of my tournament reports and deck analysises. I feel like I have a lot to give to the Six Prizes community and I want to be a contributor. I have time, and I will spend it on this.

    1. Here is what I have posted:
Absol G Lv.X/Garchomp C Lv.X Deck Analysis | Pokemon TCG Tips and Strategy - SixPrizes

    2. Accomplishments:
Have never been to a real tournament (do not live in a poke-family) but plan on going to cities.
Made up the rogue SP deck Garsol that is starting to do well.

    3. Why I should be a front page contributor:

I think that I should be a front page contributor because I am a great writer and I have great ideas of rogues that I would be happy to share in my articles. I am currently in 7th grade, but many people tell me that I am very mature for my age. I also know many overlooked techs and combos that could work in today's metagame. I also will not just copy another article and just do it over, I will try to come up with original ideas every time. That is why you should grant me the privelige to be a front page contributor. Thanks for reading :).

    2. A brief summary of your most noteworthy tournament accomplishments

I havent been playing long but I topped at Fall BRs with VileGar and got 2nd losing to Machamp/Umbreon. However, I have contributed to a few rogue decks that my friends have topped with including Garchomp/Gallade.

    3. Why you think you are qualified to become a Front Page Contributor

I think I would be a great addition to the front page, because I can bring sarcasm and humor to an article and still leave that serious undertone that will get my point across. I write to help others out with deck building and deck ideas to insure that their next tournament experience is a better one.

    3. Why you think you are qualified to become a Front Page Contributor

I am a solid writer. I use fluent language and write so I am very easily understood. I don't struggle to get a point across. I have wrote a good amount of articles for Six Prizes in the past and hope to continue to do so. I am also a somewhat decent player and have a good understanding of the meta.

  14. Adam Dude.

hgssprime: An article needs to be a minimum of 1000 words or so, as detailed in the guidelines. I don't think that deck list quite qualifies.

    2. 1st in 3 Autumn BRs 2010 across the UK, top cut in all 5 I attended
Top cut in every Nationals since 2003
    Won Cities in 2008, 2009, 2010
Currently ranked 3rd in the UK

    3. I pride myself on my vast variety of vocabulary and I enjoy helping new players as much as experienced ones. I have many deck analyses and other articles stored in my mind that I feel I need to share with the SixPrizes community. I have a dark sense of humour and real enthusiasm about writing Pokemon TCG articles. I like to cover lesser decks as well as known archetypes and my dedication to informing people wont stop once the article is written, I will respond to any queries that people have expressed in the comments section.

    2. I only started playing competitively a few months ago. I have 1 BR win and that's about It. I have won many unofficial tournaments.

    3. I think that I would be a great 6-P front page contributor because I have a taste for new and interesting Ideas that could be good decks but haven't been explored. I also have this crazy obssesion with reviving Cursegar, Psychic lock and Speedpluff. This crazy obsession could make some nice articles possibly. I'm a bit of a poet and I can write poems which could make some funny/ interesting articles. I always proofread my Article over three times, give to another person to proofread and proofread it 1 more time after that. I know a lot and have a very good knowledge of the metagame.

I'd love to become a front page contributor and I hope you accept me.

    Genguy.
