Nick! I am so happy you submitted an article, I remember playing you at Nationals a few years back and you were a really cool dude. Great player too.

I think you may have beat out J-wittz for the longest article ever on 6p hahah. Awesome reports man, such good detail and it was fun to read them. Kept me entertained.

Interesting deck choice, I don't know a ton about Dialga/Chomp but I've been told it's hard to fit everything in, and somehow you were able to throw Blaziken, Quagsire, Water, and Fire energy in there. Seems like it worked out pretty well though.

Nice job on the top 8 and congrats to your siblings for doing so well at Michigan. Good luck at Regionals and see you at Nationals

I don't know about BDIF, but I do know that this was the BAO6P (best article on six prizes). :)

Great job reporting, Nick. It's always a pleasure to see you around Michigan tournaments. Hopefully I'll be seeing you at Regionals! :)

Wow that was a pretty awesome report man

  • NKowalski

    All – Thanks!

TDA – I did not have a Power Spray in-hand nor a way of obtaining one.

I was at both of those tournaments and missed you some how…^_^* I was also 4 – 3 at both of them. But great plays though.

Yea, those states were wild tournaments. Couple things. At IN, Brandon actually played our exact list, but decided to switch out the Dusknoir line with Nidoqueen, so all 4 of the decks made top cut. MI States was a different story. Slightly different list, but I didn't see a normal tier1 deck to save my life, so I got slaughtered. 7 Rounds of(in no particular order) Donphan, Donphan, Gyarados/Donphan, Shuppet Donk, SP Toolbox/Mightyena, bad Kingdra list, Arceus. Went 4-3 against that, so sick. May have beaten Arceus if I could have gotten more than 2 energy(calls) over a 30 min period, but congrats to Mike for doing something I thought was impossible, getting 4th with Arceus in a tournament with 7 rounds and a Top16.

is it possible to obtain decklist? im very interested

“Once I finally got my Dialga Lv. X out, shortly thereafter it left the field, via Gengar Lv. X’s PokePower, which I could not stop due to the then-active Spiritomb. (Oh, it is worth reiterating that I could not prevent Maternal Comfort once my Dialga Lv. X was shuffled back into my deck; I had no way of getting it back, either, since I could not use trainers thanks to the active Spiritomb.) “

You had Dialga G Lv.X out you could have sprayed the Level-Down even with spiritomb active, Dialga G blocks off his body

    Overall good article

Thanks for the write up. Not providing a deck list for each of the events really takes away from the report in my opinion though. I've noticed that most players who post reports seem to be intentionally vague about their card choice (is this a pokemon thing or what?). I think i was just aggravated that you tell us that you made changes but did not go into any kind of detail about what those changes were or how they are supposed to shore up the Curse match up.

People can be pretty secretive about their lists if they think it could hurt them in the future by revealing exactly what they are using.

I don't really fault them for that though…if you spend a ton of time perfecting a deck, it might be in your best interest to be vague about it.

Hiya, I was reading an additional factor about this on one more blog. Interesting. Your perspective on it is diametrically contradicted from what I read earlier. I’m nonetheless pondering on the opposite items of view, but I’m leaning to a great extent toward yours. And irrespective, that is certainly what is so perfect about modern day democracy and the industry of ideas online.

you must first know if your table is real wood or some type of veneer or substitue. if it is real wood, obtain a good number of stain samples from your local paint or home supply store. carefully compare the samples to your stain. you would then attenmpt a test stain on a similar wood to determine if it is a match. you can also darken or lighten stains by mixing
