Disclosure

I am pretty sure I’m supposed to write one of these things or else the FTC will knock my door in and whisk me away in the middle of the night…

From time to time I get sent free Pokemon TCG products from Pokemon USA’s marketing company. It is usually not much, maybe a few booster packs or a theme deck, but it’s expected that I write a review on the product. I try to write objective reviews, but they may have a slightly favorable bias. If you think I’m being too soft during one of these posts, definitely tell me! I want to be as objective as possible.

I make money on some of the ads on the site if you click the link / banner and buy the product they are selling (these called affiliate links). I make a commission for promoting these products / services.

Other ads I make money only when they are clicked on (these are called pay per click or PPC).

In the future (if not by the time you are reading this), I will most likely be selling advertising space at a flat rate per month. From time to time, I will probably write posts or send e-mails thanking my advertisers for choosing to promote their products / services on 6P.

So yeah I guess that’s about it…these rules are supposed to prevent the consumer from being fooled. I know you’re smart though, so I don’t think there should be any issue.

I am going to try and only promote products / services / websites I personally believe in. I hate using PPC ads because I can’t control what shows up; it’s all random. I have no idea if the products showing up in those ads are legit or not, but until I get some advertisers I kinda need them.

If I advertise something on the site that you have an issue with in terms of its quality or service, let me know and I will look into the advertiser in more detail. I’d hate to advertise something that isn’t legit.

Alright well peace out,

Adam Capriola
