6P Street Team

The 6P street team is for anyone who enjoys the site (that means you!) and would like to help build the 6P community. :)

What exactly is a “street team”?

SixPrizes Street TeamThis street team does not follow the literal sense of “street team” (I am not encouraging you to roam the streets telling people about 6P), but it serves the same purpose.

The 6P street team is a group of people who will take to the streets of the internet and their local Pokemon TCG leagues to let other people know about SixPrizes.com.

Why make a street team?

Many people have contributed to the site by submitting articles and joining in on the discussions, but I know for some people, that may not be their thing. Maybe writing does not come easily for you, or maybe you feel timid about jumping into the conversations on the site.

That’s totally cool!

I think it’s perfectly fine if you feel more comfortable reading articles and soaking in the information. I do that for a lot of sites I visit too.

But if you would still like to contribute to the site in some way, or if you already send in articles and post comments but would like to do even more to help out, the 6P street team is just for you. :)

Here are the different ways you can become part of the 6P street team:

  1. 6P SignaturePut a link to SixPrizes.com in your signature on any forums you are involved in

    • I really do mean any forum; it does not need to be Pokemon related. Who knows, maybe seeing this site could bring someone new into the game. :)
    • You can make the link as trivial as “6P” or as long winded as “SixPrizes.com – Pokemon Cards Game Tips and Strategy“, whatever you feel comfortable with.
    • Just make sure you have a link in your signature!
  2. Street Team FlyerHand out flyers at your local Pokemon TCG league and tournaments

    • You can use this flyer or make one yourself. Just print some up before you head out the door.
    • When I say hand out fliers, you do not have to go crazy with it.
    • You can simply give a flyer to each of your opponents, leave a stack on the registration table (only if your PTO or league leader says it’s ok), or tape one to a wall or door (again, only if the owner of the store or premises gives you permission).
  3. Become a Facebook Facebook fan and Twitter Twitter follower

    • These are not only great ways for you to stay informed, but also to let other people know about SixPrizes.com too!
    • RT our tweets so that your friends will know about our stories.
    • Share our stories with your friends on Facebook and invite them to the Fan Page.
  4. Smoke SignalSimply tell your friends about the site!

    • E-mail, IM, phone, text, send smoke signals, or whatever to your friends to let them know about the site (they will thank you!)

As long as you do just 1 of those 4 things, you can consider yourself part of the 6P street team. :)

I hope everyone out there decides to join the street team in some capacity. As the community grows, we will be able to hold more contests, online tournaments with prizes, and much more. :)

Thank you for your support!
