I’ll start this article by saying “Hi” to the SixPrizes community and “Thanks” to Adam and Pablo for doing an excellent job on this site and keeping it running smoothly. This really is an awesome site and it opened my eyes about the world of Pokemon TCG. My name is Kendall Kildare (Call me RandomGuy or “rg”) and I have been playing the Pokemon TCG casually for 1 year. I only use Water decks because my favorite color is blue.
Drifblim SF has always been one of my favorite …

Raichu LV.X has been horribly underestimated in my opinion when it was first released in the Stormfront set. When it came out most people were making Gengar and Machamp decks. But this card should be recognized for having one of the most outstanding Poke-Powers of all time!
Raichu LV.X’s Power is called “Link Lightning” which allows you to use two attacks in one turn after Leveling Up Raichu and using Raichu LV.X’s attack “Voltage Shoot.” The attack “Voltage Shoot” will cause 80 damage to one of your …

Machamp is one guy all Basic Pokemon should be scared of. For just one Fighting energy he can one hit knock out any of them. And if they’re evolved, Take Out still does a respectable 40 damage. However, just like against Gengar, Unown G does a good job of blocking an attack. While Unown G is attached to a Basic Pokemon, Take Out will do nothing, not even 40 damage.
Hurricane Punch is a decent attack. Normally it will do 60 damage.
Rage is a very …

Gengar had a lot of hype up until the release of the Stormfront Pokemon TCG set. Taken at face value Gengar looks like the most amazing Pokemon card ever. Gengar can KO a Pokemon with the flip of a coin after getting KO’d himself using the Pokemon Power “Fainting Spell”. Shadow Room can do a very efficient 60 damage for 1 energy. Poltergeist can do a whole lot of damage if the opponent has a lot of trainers in hand.
But as time went …
