Commenting Etiquette

Be cool. That's all we ask. The writers and editors put a lot of time into bringing you these articles, so show some respect. It's ok to be critical, but please be civil about it. Don't embarrass yourself in front of everyone by making juvenile remarks because you may regret it later. If you have issue with someone, "Get a room." Nobody wants to see your childish back-and-forth banter. Think twice before commenting, use proper grammar, HAVE FUN, and thanks for adding to the conversation!

Junk Arm = Old School Item Finder

Pokemon Communication = Old School Pokemon Trader

Maybe we’ll see Computer Search in the next set?

      Computer Search would be Awesome!
Yeah, they seem to be “re-printing” a lot of old cards like you mentioned.

I heard the next set is going to be a lot of reprints

I’m betting they’d make computer search into a supporter. We are seeing Professor Oak re-released as a supporter in B&W if the Japanese professor is the same as spoilers say. I’d love to see computer search be re-released as Professor Oak’s Lecture or something like that. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I don’t think it’s as universally wonderful as you imply. Yes, it lets you get any trainer back that you want to when you play it, but you’re trading three cards for one, which is essentially a -2 card advantage. There might be times when you want to thin your hand (right before an Uxie drop or a Volkner’s Philosophy), but in practice it’s a card that is really easy to screw yourself over with.

discarding 3 useless cards out of your hand for one winning trainer such as a communication or luxury ball or even a scoop up is worth it.

I makes Gyarados a fine deck, it improves any SP based deck. Good card, although I wouldn’t use it in vilegar. It’s very hard to fit into sableye lock, but I will try it ;-)
