Today’s card of the day is Bibarel (Rumble RU 16), which was suggested by MewJadester. Let’s get to it…
There isn’t a lot to say about Bibarel. It is a Stage 1 Pokemon with a paltry 90 HP, steep retreat cost of 3, and a meager attack selection. It is also double weak to Fighting type, so watch out for Donphan Primes, Machamps, and Toxicroak G Promos.
Its only attack, “Rollout,” costs 4 energy, but luckily it has no colored energy requirements, so you can make use of Double Colorless Energy to speed it up. That’s about the only positive thing I see about the card.
It doesn’t even do enough damage to OHKO a Garchomp C LV.X unless you have a way to increase your damage output. Any Colorless Pokemon who takes 4 Energy to attack should be able to OHKO Garchomp C LV.X without any additional cards needed.
There is really no reason to play Bibarel unless:
A. You are playing Pokemon Rumble
B. You think Bidoof looks cute
C. You have an unhealthy obsession with beavers
My rating: 0/5 – I wouldn’t even keep it in my binder. Put it in your bicycle spokes, give it to your dog, or put it in the microwave and see if something cool happens.
Disclaimer: Consult with your parents before giving Bibarel to your dog or putting it in the microwave.
